GreenPower Motor Company manufactures a complete range of heavy- and medium-duty all-electric vehicles, including models with lower and high floors. The EV Star Cab & Chassis is their flagship vehicle, and can be adapted to meet a variety of applications.  green power scooters  is based on a simple paper sheet, which allows for the best placement of the battery pack and a lower center of gravity. This results in higher payload/range ratios.

The EV Star REEFERX was designed for mid-to last mile refrigerated deliveries and catering applications. The refrigerated trucks of class 4 have a single interior wall structure, and higher insulation than traditional trucks, enable seamless sanitation and better temperature control. They also have a longer service life. The EV Star REEFERX provides superior capacity for cargo and a payload that is industry-leading to reach the range of zero-emission freight or passenger transport.

GreenPower has partnered with Perrone Robotics in order to equip the EV Star with TONY (To navigate you) autonomous vehicle systems that will enable fleets to easily transition to autonomous vehicles. The AV Star can also be wirelessly charging up to 75 kW.

We had the opportunity to test the EV9 for a few hours on a local freeway, and found it to be easy to drive and comfortable for long distances. The EV9 is able to suppress the sound of traffic and wind driving on the highway. It is smooth on bumps and ruts. The acceleration is quite quick, and the car comes with adjustable regenerative braking that allows "one pedal driving" by lifting off of the accelerator.

The EV9 has excellent range and can be fully recharged in about three hours at home or with any commercial charger. Drivers can select between two modes of operation including eco mode and sports mode. Eco mode focuses on torque as well as cruise control and handling while sport mode focuses on speed. Both are fun to drive and offer a unique driving experience for anyone who has not driven an electric vehicle before.

In addition to the EV9, GreenPower has several other electric vehicles, including a multi-purpose all-electric mini bus, called the EV Star. The EV Star is ADA compliant and can be used as an executive shuttle, micro-transit or transit vanpool, bus, or a paratransit vehicle.

green scooter  is currently producing around 10 EV Star buses per month for the Jacksonville Transit Authority, which is working to replace their fleet of older diesel vehicles with 100 fully electric vehicles. GreenPower will increase production to meet the demand of the Biden Administration, which is looking to electrify all school buses in America. Their EV Star bus is the first of its kind to be tested by Altoona and FMVSS-certified, Buy America compliant and ADA conforming. This will make them eligible for federal transit grants. We will be following the AV Star as it begins its demonstration tour in later this year. We will provide more details on this exciting EV.
